

The Manila Police District (MPD) is currently tracking down the suspects involved in a "basag-kotse" (car break-in) incident where a station manager and announcer of an FM radio station, along with his neighbor, were victimized in the City of Manila, RH 29 Boy Gonzales reported.
According to the investigation by MPD Station 9, the victim first reported to the barangay that ₱4,800 in cash and a laptop worth ₱165,000 were stolen after the suspects smashed the window of his car.
The victim immediately reviewed CCTV footage from the barangay in an effort to identify the perpetrators.
His neighbor also reported a similar incident to the barangay after suspects broke the window of his parked vehicle and took a laptop. The vehicle was parked along Fernando Street, Barangay 756, Malate, Manila.
Authorities conducted a follow-up operation and were able to recover the stolen laptops, which were found inside a green bag left in the Tondo area.
The identities of the suspects are still being verified. Based on CCTV footage, the motorcycle driver was wearing a white t-shirt, while his back rider was dressed in a neon green t-shirt and a white helmet.
