A woman’s body was found floating along the San Juan River on the morning of Friday, August 29, at the boundary of San Juan City and Old Sta. Mesa, Manila.

According to RH reporter Edniel Parrosa, the San Juan City MDRRMO received the report at around 6:08 a.m. and retrieved the body by 7 a.m.

It was only past 8 a.m. when police homicide investigators arrived to begin their probe.

The victim was first spotted by a waste picker, who pulled the body to the river wall before alerting authorities.

Police have yet to release the victim’s identity as investigation into the incident continues.
