

Several local government units (LGUs) across the country have announced the suspension of classes for Friday, August 22 due to heavy rains brought by a the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and Tropical Depression 'Isang'.
As of 11:26AM, the following areas have declared class suspensions:
Albay - all levels, public and private
Sta. Rosa, Laguna - preschool to senior high school, public
Las Piñas City - all levels, public and private
Muntinlupa City - face-to-face classes in all levels, public and private
Parañaque City - all levels, public and private
Castilla, Sorsogon - all levels, public and private
Pasay City - afternoon class, all levels, public and private
Manila City - afternoon face-to-face classes in all levels, public and private
Taguig City - afternoon face-to-face classes in all levels, public and private
Mandaluyong City- afternoon face-to-face classes in all levels, public and private
Caloocan City - afternoon face-to-face classes in all levels, public and private
Malabon City - afternoon face-to-face classes in all levels, public and private
Pasig City - Kindergarten to Senior High School, including Day Care (Early Childhood Development Centers) and Alternative Learning System, public and private (starting 11:00AM)
Makati City - afternoon classes for preschool to senior high school, public and private
