VP Sara wishes PBBM 'strength and wisdom' on 65th birthday

Vice President Sara Duterte has wished President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. "strength and wisdom for the difficult road ahead" on his 65th birthday on Tuesday, September 13.

Duterte shared an “obligatory birthday selfie” with Marcos, who was her running mate during the 2022 elections, on her official Facebook page.

“I wish God’s favor upon you as you celebrate your birthday and pray that you are given the strength and wisdom for the difficult road ahead,” she said.

“Happy Birthday! I wish you good health and happiness,” she added.

She also thanked Marcos and the 250th Presidential Airlift Wing for making sure that she is home in time before her children sleep, and for “putting a premium on the desire of a working mother to be present in her children’s lives.”

Marcos marked his 65th birthday by leading a simultaneous bamboo and tree planting event in San Mateo, Rizal.

Prior to this, the people of Ilocos Norte serenaded the President for his birthday over the weekend. He was in Ilocos Norte to commemorate the 105th birthday of his father former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
