Typhoon Emong has made landfall in the vicinity of Agno, Pangasinan as of 10:40 PM, according PAGASA.

In its Thursday's 11 PM bulletin, PAGASA said Emong is packing maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center and gusts of up to 150 km/h, while moving slowly eastward.

Due to its impact, PAGASA has raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals (TCWS) No. 1 to No. 4 over various parts of Luzon, warning of strong winds and heavy rainfall in the affected areas.

"On the forecast track, the center of EMONG will make another landfall in La Union or Ilocos Sur tonight or tomorrow early morning. Afterwards, it will cross the mountainous terrain of Northern Luzon and emerge over the Babuyan Channel tomorrow morning or noon," PAGASA said.
