Tropical Depression ‘Huaning’ has officially exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Tuesday at 8AM, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
The state weather bureau last reported Huaning’s track at 650 kilometers east northeast of Itbayat, Batanes with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and wind movements of up to 70 kph.
PAGASA also warns that Huaning is expected to gain strength from its exit from PAR but will not cause any major impact in the country. Huaning is also forecasted to possibly pass near or over the Ryukyu Islands in Japan within the day.
Meanwhile another Low Pressure Area (LPA) is being monitored outside PAR located at 1,810km east of the eastern visayas. It poses “medium” chances of becoming a full storm in the next 24 hours.
According to PAGASA, today’s forecast in Luzon is expected to have cloudy weather with a high chance of rain in Quezon, Bicol Region, and MIMAROPA due to the easterlies which are defined to be winds that blow from east to west.
On the other hand, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon is stated to have clear weather but will also expect heat and humidity especially from noon to afternoon with signs of localized thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
