Three children perished while their two siblings suffered injuries after a fire razed a house on Wednesday, July 3, in Maasin, Iloilo.

Authorities identified the fatalities as a five-year old girl, a four-year old boy, and a 16-month old girl.

Reports state that their two siblings: a 12-year old girl, and a eight-year old boy, suffered multiple burns and undergoes treatment at the Western Visayas Medical Center.

The parents left their children at home in order to attend a wake when the blaze happened.
