Tropical Cyclone Pepito weakened from a super typhoon down to typhoon category on Sunday, November 17.
As of the 7:00PM, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that the eye of Typhoon Pepito hovers over the vicinity of Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya.
The state-run weather monitoring agency said that Typhoon Pepito has a maximum wind strength of 165 kph near the center, and gustiness of 275 kph.
Typhoon Pepito moves west northwest with a speed of 25 kph.
PAGASA said that Typhoon Pepito will exit the landmass of Luzon via Pangasinan, La Union, or southern Ilocos Sur before leaving the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Monday, November 19.
