

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said employees who will report to work on December 30 and January 1 will receive 200% of their salary that day.
It said that the employer shall pay a total of 200 percent of the employee's wage for that day for the first eight hours (basic wage x 200 percent).
Meanwhile, for those workers who work more than eight hours, the company shall pay those employees an additional 30 percent of the hourly rate on the day he/she reported to work (hourly rate of the basic wage x 200 percent × 130 percent x number of hours worked).
For employees who went to work during a regular holiday that also falls on their rest day, they shall receive an additional 30 percent of the basic wage of 200 percent (basic wage x 200 percent x 130 percent).
The employer shall need to pay the employee an additional 30 percent of the hourly rate on the said day if the he/she worked more that eight hours during a regular holiday that falls on his/her rest day (hourly rate of the basic wage x 200 percent x 130 percent x 130 percent x number of hours worked).
December 30 (Rizal Day) and Januray 1 (New Year's Day) are declared regular holidays.
