American music channel MTV has unveiled the lineup of artists who will be performing in 2023 Video Music Awards (VMAs) slated on September 12.
Peforming live are soloists American singer and songwriter Demi Lavato and Colombian singer Karol G.
Two groups will also make the VMAs stage on fire with their performances. These are South Korean boy group Stray Kids and Italian rock band Måneskin.
Another set of performers are expected to be dropped soon.
This year's VMA will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The nominees for the highly anticpated Song of the Year crown are as follows:
- Miley Cyrus – “Flowers”
- Olivia Rodrigo – “vampire”
- Rema & Selena Gomez – “Calm Down”
- Sam Smith, Kim Petras – “Unholy”
- Steve Lacy – “Bad Habit”
- SZA – “Kill Bill”
- Taylor Swift – “Anti-Hero”
The nominees for other categories such as Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Rop, and more can be viewed here.
The voting has started earlier this month, and fans can cast their votes in MTV's official website.
VMA is an annual awarding ceremony where artists are recognized for their music videos.
