The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato gave concert-goers a dose of 2008 nostalgia with a surprise performance of Camp Rock hits during the JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour opening show at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Monday (Philippine time).
Fans heard songs like “Gotta Find You,” “This is Me,” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing,” live, bringing audiences back nearly two decades—back into the era of black tights and spray tans, and Guitar Hero and Webkinz.

Joe Jonas and Lovato also lip-synced to “Wouldn’t Change a Thing,” from the second and final installment of Camp Rock, The Final Jam.

Marshmello, Boys Like Girls, and The All-American Rejects have joined the brothers’ 20th anniversary North American tour as opening acts. The tour follows the band’s seventh studio album, “Greetings From Your Hometown.”
Camp Rock, a pop-culture gem from the “golden era” of Disney’s TV programming, is about Mitchie Torres (played by Lovato), an aspiring singer who leaps at the opportunity to attend a prestigious, summer music camp but hides her identity as the camp chef’s daughter as she navigates through friendships, romance, betrayal—all while chasing her dreams.
