Who among the more than 150 short film entries made it to the roster of Top 15?
Catch the "Big Reveal" of the MBC Short Film Festival 2022 this Saturday, July 2 at 7:30 PM on its official Facebook page, DZRH News Television, and other affiliated digital platforms of the Manila Broadcasting Company such as DZRH News, Love Radio, Yes The Best, Easy Rock, Radyo Natin, and Aksyon Radyo.
The Top 15 finalists will be composed of five entries from the three categories: Documentary, Animation, and Short Feature.
The show will be hosted by Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen 2021 Shanyl Kayle Hofer and DZRH's Christian Maño.
Meanwhile, the three-part segments will be hosted by Tambalan Nicole Hyala and Chris Tsuper of 90.7 Love Radio Manila, Rico Panyero of 101.1 Yes! The Best Manila, DJ Nick of 96.3 Easy Rock Manila and Edniel Parrosa and Jecelle Ricafort of DZRH News.
The 15 films selected for the final competition will automatically receive PHP 20,000 each. Meanwhile, category winners will each receive PHP 100,000 additional and will vie for the Grand Prix Award.
The overall winner of the competition will take home a pot of PHP 220,000, net of tax.
Back in February, the MSFF, once again, opened its doors for amateur and professional filmmakers nationwide for entries that underscore acts of kindness, care, and compassion, based on real-life characters or situations.
