The list is out. Finally, the Manila Broadcasting Company revealed the top 15 finalists for its first-ever short film festival.

On July 30, the MSFF via its "The Big Reveal" event aired on the official facebook page of the MSFF and other affiliated digital platforms of MBC, introduced the 15 films, five from Animation, Short Feature and Documentary categories.

Making it to the Top 15 are:

Documentary: Mga Batang Anipa; Ang Meron Sa Wala; Diva, Divine?; Maglabay Ra In Sakit; and Titser Gennie

Short Feature: Judy Free; The Slums; Tarang; Excuse me Miss, Miss, Miss; and Ang Gasgas na Plaka ni Lolo Bert

Animation: Ana; Distance; Home; Last Piece; and Stay

Out of almost 200 entries, the task of selecting the best from the best was given to the following judges: Sari Dalena, Treb Monteras, Aureus Solito, Ditsi Carolino, Seymour B. Sanchez, Collis Davis, Benedict Carandang, Teddy O. Co and Adrian Arcega.

The full films will be posted from August 16 onwards when viewers can also begin casting their votes daily until August 25 for their choice of FAN FAVORITE . So no need to mope during the ECQ -- watch the films, and let your vote be counted!
