

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced the suspension of the expanded number coding scheme on Monday, September 1, due to inclement weather.
"Suspendido ang pagpapatupad ng expanded number coding scheme ngayong araw, Setyembre 1, 2025, dahil sa sama ng panahon," MMDA wrote.
"Paalala ng MMDA: mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho at tiyaking updated sa mga weather reports," the agency added.
Likewise, Makati City announced the suspension of its local number coding scheme to ease mobility for motorists amid the bad weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) earlier announced the suspension of classes at all levels, as well as work in government offices in several areas as heavy rainfall is being experienced and warned of possible flooding.
