Typhoon Marce left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at around 4:00PM on Friday, November 8.
As of 5:00PM, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Service Administration (PAGASA) located the center of Typhoon Marce at 285 kilometers northwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur.
The state-run weather monitoring agency said that Typhoon Marce has a maximum wind strength of 150 kph near the center, and gustiness of up to 185 kph.
PAGASA added that Typhoon Marce moves west southwestward with a speed of 20 kph.
PAGASA weather specialist Ana Clauren-Jorda said that Typhoon Marce no longer has any direct impact to the Philippines, but Ilocos Region will continue to experience thunderstorms.
"Dahil maliit lang ang circulation nitong Bagyong Marce, wala na itong direktang epekto sa anuman bahagi ng ating bansa kaya wala na rin tayong nakataas na tropical cyclone warning signal," Clauren-Jorda said.
