The Light Rail Transit 2 (LRT-2) will be offering free rides on Friday, December 30, from 7 AM to 9 AM and 5 PM to 7 PM in commemoration of Rizal Day.

In an advisory, the LRT-2 management said the first trains will depart from Recto and Antipolo Station at 5:00 AM while the last train from Antipolo Station will depart at 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM from Recto Station.

"Ang libreng sakay ay bilang pakikiisa ng [Light Rail Transit Authority] sa mga Pilipino sa paggunita at pag-alala sa kabayanihan ni Gat Jose Rizal,” said the LRTA.
