Christmas season might still be months away, but when Mariah Carey says it’s time, we believe her, because she’s already got the spirit going!

In a social media post on Monday, March 24, the “Songbird Supreme” and Christmas icon announced that she will be staging “The Celebration of Mimi” world tour in Manila. Set for a stop this coming October 14, the multi-award-winning singer will be belting her most powerful and iconic tunes for a one-night concert.

“The Celebration of Mimi” world tour also marks the special anniversary year of “The Emancipation of Mimi” album.

Mariah will also perform in other Asian countries like China, Thailand, and Japan, from May to November. However, the tour will not end here, as the singer assured that more dates will be announced soon.

Mariah had often acknowledged her Pinoy fans during the celebration of the Christmas season in September. Regarded as the “Queen of Christmas,” the singer’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” track is often streamed from September to December in the Philippines.

In 2023, the singer shared on X that the track posed a 75% increase compared to the previous year. In an X post, she wrote, “Not yet!!! I’ll allow it for my Filipino lambs though (I don’t make the rules).”
