It seems like memes were turning into reality as the discount store Japan Home Center (JHC) is set to accept onions a payment on Saturday, February 4.

Selected items in the store will be available for purchase using the recently controversial onion.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, JHC announced their 'pay with sibuyas' promo at Panay Avenue, Quezon City branch.

The retail store is popularly known as the first and original P88 concept store in the Philippines.
