The Maynilad Water Services, Inc. announced on Saturday, June 7, that there would be urgent repair works in some parts of Manila from June 7 to 8.
The water supply company’s social media post on late Friday, June 6, stated that JBROS Construction Corporation, a third-party contractor, accidentally hit one of Maynilad’s water pipelines at Nicolas Zamora Street in Tondo, Manila.
Following the incident, the Maynilad team immediately went to the area to conduct an assessment and identify the needed repairs.
At the time of the announcement, there were no service interruptions recorded.
However, they reminded the public that water interruptions may be experienced in some areas in the South once repairs begin.
In an update on Saturday, June 7, Maynilad announced that some barangays will experience water interruption from 2:00 PM on June 7 until 10:00 AM on June 8, 2025.
“Delay in resumption of water service in your area may be experienced due to several factors,” Maynilad wrote.
