Authorities from the Manila Police District (MPD) arrested four individuals on Monday for producing and selling fake documents in Recto Avenue, Quiapo, Manila.

In a report by RH Boy Gonzales, the suspects have been identified as Amado Depacto, John Mark Gemillan, John Tarvy Torres, and Christine Apolinar, all residents of LRC Compound, Barangay 310 in Sta. Cruz.

The arrest was carried out by personnel from Barbosa Police Station (MPD Station 14) after receiving reports about the suspects’ illegal activities. Acting on the tip, law enforcement officers conducted an operation in a stall located along CM Recto Avenue, Barangay 395, where the suspects were caught in the act of selling counterfeit documents.

Authorities recovered freshly made fraudulent documents, including one diploma and two school transcripts of records, from the scene.
