BSP warns public against fake documents

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) warned the public against fake documents that pretends to be issued by the BSP or its officials.
In an online advisory, the BSP said that the false documents may display the BSP logo and contain forged signatures which may attempt to lure victims in releasing their personal information and unlawfully obtain financial gain.
“The BSP advises the public to remain vigilant and to verify the authenticity of any communication or document pertaining to financial transactions,” the BSP said in their statement.
