A 43-year-old mother sustained injuries after allegedly being attacked and shoved by a couple and their house helper inside the Ninoy Aquino Stadium at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex along Adriatico Street, Malate, Manila, according to a report by RH 29 Boy Gonzales.

Based on the investigation conducted by the Manila Police District (MPD), the victim’s child and the couple’s child were rivals in an ongoing taekwondo competition being held at the stadium.

Following the victory of the victim’s child, the 43-year-old mother reportedly muttered a prayer of thanks, which was overheard and taken negatively by the couple and their house helper. As a result, the latter allegedly got angry and cursed at the victim.

As the woman was heading home, she was blocked by the couple, confronted, pushed, and physically assaulted before the suspects quickly fled the scene.
