

A fire broke out early Wednesday morning inside the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters in Quezon City, Edniel Parrosa reported.
According to the Headquarters Support Service (HSS), the blaze occurred at the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) K9 compound of Camp Crame. The incident was first reported at 12:41 a.m. and was raised to first alarm status by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) at around 1:03 a.m.
At least 40 fire trucks responded to the scene, and firefighters were able to put the fire out before 2 a.m.
Fire Inspector Jeramile Valdez of the Quezon City BFP confirmed that no one was injured or killed in the incident. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
Just last month, a minor fire also hit parts of the PNP General Hospital inside Camp Crame.
