The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) indicated in their Astronomical Diary that two meteor showers are expected to appear from July to August of this year.
The Piscis Austrinid meteor shower will be visible from July 15 to August 10, peaking on July 28. It would reach its radiant point at around 2:00 a.m. and will likely burn its brightest just before sunrise. They stated that five meteors per hour are expected to be produced by the meteor shower.

Then, form July 12 to August 23, the Southern δ-Aquariid meteor shower would be seen, peaking on July 30. People in Manila would witness the phenomenon each day from 8:19 p.m. until 5:13 a.m. the following day.
25 meteors per hour are estimated to be produced during its peak. Its radiant point would be around 2:00 a.m. producing its greatest view.

PAGASA suggests to observe the meteor shower in dark areas, away from city lights and under clear skies, to maximize the viewing experience. No special equipment such as telescopes and binoculars are needed to view the phenomenon.
