The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) is giving a P10 million reward to anyone who can provide the whereabouts of Kingdom of Jesus Christ Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
"Gusto ko hong i-anunsyo sa mga nanonood at nakikinig na mayroon po tayong mga kaibigan na gustong tumulong sa paghahanap sa kanila at nag-ooffer ng reward, na 10 million pesos for any information leading to the arrest of Pastor Quiboloy," said DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos Jr. during a joint press briefing on Monday, July 8.
Aside from Quiboloy, Abalos said the government will also give P1 million each to anyone who can locate the fugitive's five co-accused, namely Cresente Canada, Pauline Canada, Ingrid Canada, Sylvia Cemañes, and Jackielyn Roy.
Quiboloy and his co-accused were charged with Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act violation before a Pasig City court.
The Davao City Regional Trial Court also charged Quiboloy with violations of the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act.
To serve the arrest warrants against Quiboloy and his co-accused, the police conducted many searches of the KOJC facility in Davao, but they were unable to locate him.
Members of KOJC have denounced the most recent attempt to serve the warrants, alleging that the police have entered their compounds with undue force.
On June 30, former President Rodrigo Duterte said he knew where Quiboloy was hiding, but would not say where.
Quiboloy became the spiritual adviser to Duterte during his presidency.
