The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced that the Unified 911 Emergency Hotlines will be officially launched on September 11, a nationwide service designed to ensure fast, reliable, and compassionate emergency response for all Filipinos.

With the integration of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), every call made to 911 will guarantee immediate assistance.

A key feature of the new system is its language inclusivity, such as Ilocano, Bikol, Cebuano, and Maguindanaoan. Regardless of the caller’s language or dialect, responders are equipped to ensure proper communication and timely action.

The Unified 911 aims to strengthen public safety and preparedness, providing Filipinos with a dependable lifeline in times of crisis.

The agency emphasized that the initiative reflects its mission to build a safer, more resilient, and unified Philippines.

“Handog ng pamahalaan para sa isang mas ligtas, handa, at nagkakaisang Pilipinas,” the DILG stated in their Facebook post.
