A murder suspect who had evaded arrest for 12 years was finally apprehended by the Bataan Police Provincial Office on Friday, September 5.

Led by the Provincial Director Police Colonel Marites Salvadora, the manhunt operation happened around 12:15 a.m at Purok 5, Brgy. Langkaan 1, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

The suspect, who was charged with murder, is ranked as the number 3 most wanted person at the provincial level and number 1 at the municipal level in Pilar.

According to reports submitted to PCOL Salvadora, operatives from the Pilar Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Regional Intelligence Unit 3, Bataan Provincial Intelligence Team, and Dasmariñas Component City Police Station, successfully conducted an operation that led to the arrest of a suspect who had been on the run for 12 years.

The joint effort resulted in the apprehension of the long-wanted individual, marking a significant breakthrough in the province's law enforcement efforts.
