Several roads and bridges in the Visayas and Mindanao regions remain impassable as a result of widespread rainfall nationwide brought by Tropical Storm #CrisingPH, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
In a report by RH Edniel Parrosa on Rapido Hataw Balita, the NDRRMC reported that 19 road sections and one bridge are still 'not passable' as of Friday morning, July 18.
These are among the 23 roads and two bridges previously reported to have been affected by the storm across various provinces, including areas in Region 10 in Mindanao.
The agency also recorded three landslide incidents in Central Visayas, along with flooding in at least 26 areas in Region 7 and SOCCSKSARGEN.
Earlier, the Office of Civil Defense warned of the widespread hazards posed by the tropical storm, which has also been enhancing the southwest monsoon (habagat), contributing to more rainfall and gusty winds across affected regions.
As of midday, #CrisingPH was last spotted east of Tuguegarao, Cagayan, and is expected to intensify further before making landfall over Northern Luzon either later on Friday night or early Saturday morning, July 19.
