Three typhoons and the continuous southwest monsoon triggered floods and landslides across Baguio City, causing one death, two injuries, and one missing person.

The typhoons Crising, Emong, and Dante, intensified by the southwest monsoons, affected 378 families composed of 1,593 individuals, in different parts of the city.

According to the Itogon Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), among those injured were a man and a woman, who received on-site medical treatment and were then taken to a hospital. Meanwhile, the 59-year-old man is the victim of a fatality. He was found during the rescue operation and was immediately rushed to Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC).

Moreover, a search and rescue operation was held last July 26, after a man was reported missing at around 4 a.m. after a landslide hit the area of Sitio Talinguroy, Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet. The family assumes that the victim may have been buried by the landslide or might have been swept by the creek near the area.
