The Department of Education's (DepEd) annual nationwide school maintenance program, Brigada Eskwela, is set for next week, from Monday, July 22, until Saturday, July 27.

The program will follow last year's theme, Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan.

The Kick-off Program will be held in Carmen National High School in Cebu Province, and will be streamed online on DepEd's official Facebook page.

The six-day event "engages all education stakeholders to contribute their time, efforts, and resources in ensuring that public schools are all set in time for class opening," the DepEd memorandum from July 9 reads.
