Hoisted wind signals over the areas in the country have been lifted as typhoon Aghon slightly weakens as it continues to move northeastward away from Luzon, according to PAGASA on Tuesday, May 28.

In its latest Tropical Cyclone Bulletin, PAGASA said Aghon's center was seen 315 km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan with maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 160 km/h, and central pressure of 970 hPa.

It is moving Northeastward at 15 km/h.

The state weather bureau also said the typhoon is unlikely to directly bring a significant amount of rainfall within the next three days.
