Four siblings were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cataning, Bataan for allegedly selling illegal drugs valued at approximately ₱748,000, on Saturday, May 18.
According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Office, the suspects were identified as alias Aying, 48; alias Rara, 37; alias Roly, 33; and alias Ali, 29.
Two other individuals were identified as alias Ann and alias Ron-Ron and also apprehended during the same operation conducted jointly by the PDEA Bataan and the local police force.
Authorities recovered six sachets of suspected shabu, weighing approximately 110 grams, an Android phone, and the marked buy-bust money used during the operation.
The seized illegal drugs have been sent to the PDEA Regional Office 3 laboratory for further examination and confirmation.
All six suspects now face non-bailable charges under Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to Section 26B (conspiracy to sell) of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
