Based on RH Freddie Fajardo's report on Balitang Promdi, Solomon Segundo, a retired official from the Philippine National Police, found the explosive devices beside his house.
According to Office-in-Charge Chief of Police Capt. Josh Banayos Jr., Solomon was discovered the explosive devices when he was digging at 11 p.m.
Solomon first thought it was a mine, but later on noticed that these were bombs, which he immediately reported to the authorities.
Malico Police responded immediately with a special ordinance division and excavated the area where the bombs were located.
The 81-mm cartridge and a 1-round 77-mm cartridge bomb were sent to the permanent protection order explosive safety area.
