

Two-time World Champion Carlos Yulo finished with four gold medals in the recent 2024 Asian Gymnastics Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
In the last day of the Asian Championships on Sunday, May 19, the Filipino gymnast ruled the vault event with a score of 14.833 points and parallel bars with a score of 15.133 points.
In the vault event, he bested Abdulaziz Mirvaliev of Uzbekistan, who took the silver medal with a score of 14.783 points, and Muhammad Sharul Aimy, who placed third with a score of 14.466 points.
Meanwhile, Yulo claimed the crown in the parallel bars event by outperfoming Dehang Yun of China, who placed second with a score of 15.033 points, and Rasuljon Abdurakhimo of Uzbekistan, who grabbed the last podium spot with a score of 14.866 points.
Last Friday, May 17, Yulo ruled the men's individual all-around event after garnering a total score of 14.933 points.
The 24-year old gymnast also tallied a score of 14.933 points to rule the floor exercise event of the Asian Gymnastics Championships for the third straight year.
Yulo, who now has 10 Asian Gymnastics Championships gold medals under his name, prepares to compete in the 2024 Olympics, which will open on July 26 in Paris, France.
