

A fire erupted in a warehouse at Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City early Monday, April 28.
According to the report by RH 5 Val Gonzales, the fire erupted at around 5:30 AM, at a warehouse alongside Doña Carmen in Commonwealth Ave. in Quezon City. The fire was eventually raised to the second alarm.
Based on the Quezon City Fire Department’s record, the fire broke from the warehouse’s ceiling.
Fortunately, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) immediately rushed to the area and prevented the fire from spreading to nearby areas.
At 6:15 AM, it was reported that the fire was under control.

Meanwhile, the incident caused traffic congestion along Commonwealth Avenue. The report mentioned that this was because authorities occupied around three to four lanes in the said area.
The traffic is also timed with the morning rush hour, causing vehicles and numerous passengers to be stranded from Litex Road until Philcoa.

According to the report, there were no recorded injuries during the incident.
The BFP is still investigating the cause of the fire.
