Television personality Raffy Tulfo garnered a vote share of 57.92 percent to lead all senatorial candidates according to the latest nationwide pre-election survey conducted by DZRH, the flagship AM news station of the Manila Broadcasting Company.
Statistically tied for second and third place are Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero (44.16 percent) and Antique Rep. Loren Legarda (43.19 percent), and coming in fourth and fifth are Taguig Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano (42.63 percent) and former Secretary of Public Works and Highways Mark Villar (41.57 percent).
Tied for sixth and seventh place are Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri (40.98 percent) and actor Robin Padilla (40.95 percent); at eighth is Sen. Sherwin “Win” Gatchalian (38.56 percent); and ninth is former vice president Jejomar “Jojo” Binay (33.47 percent).
Four senators are tied for 10th thru 13th place: Sen. Joel “Tesdaman” Villanueva (31.35 percent), Sen. Risa Hontiveros (31.33 percent), and former senators Jinggoy Estrada (30.50 percent) and JV Ejercito (30.27 percent).
Tied for 14th and 15th place are former Information and Communications Technology Secretary Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan and former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque (25.27 percent).
The survey was conducted among a sample of 7,560 nationwide respondents, on April 18 and April 19 this year, with a margin of error of +/- 1.13 percent.
