The Choco Mucho Flying Titans bagged the bronze medal in 2023 the VTV International Women's Volleyball Cup held in Vietnam.
The Flying Titans bested Japan's Kansai University of Social Welfare in four sets, 25-20, 23-25, 25-13, 25-18, in the third-place match held on Saturday, August 26.
Choco Mucho, the representatives of the Philippines in the tournament, earned a spot in the semifinals after finishing the preliminary rounds with three wins and two losses.
However, the Filipinas lose to Vietnam 2 squad, and got relegated to the bronze medal match against the representatives of the Japan.
Aside from a podium finish, two players of Choco Mucho, Sisi Rondina and Maddie Madayag, won special awards in the tournament.
Rondina bagged the Best Outside Hitter award, and Madayag snagged the Best Middle Blocker plum.
