San Juan City Vice Mayor Warren Villa passed away on Sunday evening, June 18, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora announced.
In a Facebook post, Zamora said that the 52-year-old San Juan City Vice Mayor died on the side of his wife Inah, and son Hab.
“Warren was a dear friend to me and we are mourning the loss of a beloved San Juaneño whose invaluable contribution to our city's progress, we will forever honor,” he said.
The San Juan City Mayor did not disclose Villa’s cause of death.
Zamora asked the public to include the late San Juan Vice Mayor and his loved ones in their thoughts and prayers.
Villa is presently in his second term as the City’s Vice Mayor.
He and Zamora were previously the tandem in the 2019 and 2022 National and Local Elections.
Meanwhile, in a separate Facebook post, Zamora said all events of the San Juan City Government set for Monday are canceled and would be rescheduled.
The events include Wreath Laying Ceremony, Blood Letting Program, 50th Wedding Anniversary Renewal of Vows, the Medical City Mobiclinic Launch and the Feeding Program for Barangay Corazon De Jesus.
"Thank you very much for your kind understanding," he said.
