New hazing complaints were filed by the older brother of John Matthew Salilig, the Adamson student who died in a fraternity hazing, and three other students against Tau Gamma Phi members responsible for the brutal initiation rite.
Two complaints of Republic Act 11053 or the Anti-Hazing Act of 2018 were filed before the Department of Justice on Friday, March 10.
Complainants John Michael Salilig and Roi Dela Cruz, the sole witness in the hazing, accused 12 respondents identified as:
- Mark Rama
- Levi Gianan
- Ryan Camangyan
- Ar-Jay Arao
- Christian Mercado
- Lester Sus
- Carlos Rovillos
- Earl Ursolino
- Aron Cruz
- Ralph Tan
- Armando Hernandez Jr
- alias "Mc Gregor"
Meanwhile, two other Adamson students, Alexander Marcelo, and Earl Abuda filed other complaints against the mentioned respondents adding the names of:
- Tung Cheng Teng
- Early Romero
- Jerome Balot
- Sandro Victorino
- Michael Ritalde
- Mark Pedros
- Daniel Perry
All seven were already under the custody of the Biñan Central Police while the ten, except Mc Gregor Aaron Cruz, are still at large.
Cruz, also known as Bonez, recently surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after being seen entering the NBI-National Capital Region wearing a light gray hoodie.
Salilig went missing on February 18. His decomposed body was found buried at a vacant lot in a subdivision in Malagasang, Imus City on February 28.
According to the witness, he was beaten at least 70 times during the initiation rites of the Tau Gamma Phi (Triskelion) fraternity in Biñan, Laguna the same day he went missing.
