The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) provided assistance to around 100 patients during the ‘Walk of Faith’ from Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church.

PRC has dispatched volunteers and set up tents at Quirino Grandstand, Kartilya ng Katipunan, and the Quiapo Church, before the procession to aid devotees.

Volunteers monitored and checked the blood pressure of patients, while 21 individuals with minor injuries like abrasion, chest pain, concussion, and abdominal pain received first aid treatment.

1 patient was unconscious and was rushed to the Jose Reyes Medical Center.

PRC monitored the situation with their emergency medical unit, ambulance, fire truck, first aid stations, food patrol, total manpower volunteers, medical doctor, and others.
