Pulse Asia Research Inc. has disowned a fake pre-election survey that is reportedly circulating on social media and messaging applications.
According to the public opinion polling body, the survey results are not theirs, and official surveys are only released through their website.
"We have received numerous queries about alleged Pulse Asia survey results being circulated in social media and through instant messaging applications. These results are not ours," said the polling body.
"Our organization releases our survey results only through the Pulse Asia Research website," it clarified.
The fake poll contains pre-election survey results that were allegedly carried out from March 10 to 15.
The latest pre-election survey from the polling body was released last March 15, presenting the results of the company's survey from February 18 to 23. These results show that the tandem of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte is leading in the polls.
