Baguio was hailed as the wealthiest city outside Metro Manila in 2022, the data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) showed.
According to the PSA’s Provincial Product Accounts, Baguio had the highest per capita gross domestic products among the provinces, as well as the most highly urbanized cities in the country during that year, with a GDP reaching P420,016, which is more than double the national average of P178,751.
