Supporters of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos gathered along IBP Road, Quezon City to show their support for his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 25.
Hundreds of supporters, wearing uniformed blue, red, and white shirts attended the party, according to Val Gonzales’ report during DZRH’s SONA Special report.
The event was called "SONA All: Action Support for Recovery and Unity.”
Various pro-government groups like Kilusan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino from San Jose Del Monte Bulacan were present in the gathering.
The event was held three meters away from militant groups, that gathered on Commonwealth Ave. to raise their demands in the Marcos administration.
Authorities also enforced tight security in the area as pro-Marcos supporters were earlier advised not allowed to bring umbrellas and backpacks.
After the watch party of President Marcos’s first SONA speech, a mini concert was held.
Guest bands and entertainers namely Rapakol, Inner Voices, Arriba, and Plethora performed.
Anakalusugan party-list representative Mike Defensor organized the event.
