The whole province of Southern Leyte is currently experiencing power outages due to the impact of Typhoon Odette.

Office of Civil Defense Eastern Visayas Dir. Lord Torrecarion assured on Thursday, December 16, that the provincial disaster risk reduction and management council has prepared for such a large-scale blackout.

"Yung mga back-up life line natin, like generators, fuels, communications, have already been prepositioned," Torrecarion said during DZRH's Breaktime.

OCD-Eastern Visayas has yet to record a single fatality or casualty due to the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.
