Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief PGen. Rommel Francisco Marbil visited Regions 1 and 3 on May 22 to enhance police readiness and strengthen law enforcement presence in the communities.
Marbil made his first visit to Mapandan, Pangasinan to personally inspect current police operations focused on visibility and to assess the use and effectiveness of body-worn cameras.
The body-worn cameras are considered essential tools in enhancing transparency and accountability within the police force.
He likewise paid a visit to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) at Camp Olivas in San Fernando City, Pampanga, where he was cordially received by PRO3 Regional Director, PBGen. Jean Fajardo.
Fajardo and Marbil proceeded to the PRO3 Command Center to assess real-time updates and evaluate the strategies being implemented by the region to maintain peace and order.
