A military plane with two people onboard crashed in Bataan on late Wednesday morning.
In a report from RH Danny Cumilang, the Cessna plane with body number 29 crashed at a field in Sitio Tabon in Barangay Del Rosario in Pilar, Bataan.
According to Eric Apolonio, spokesperson of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), the aircraft was en route to Sangley-Oriobn-Sangley but was not able to return to Sangley Point in Cavite City as it crashed in Bataan.
Witnesses said the incident occurred at about 10:42 AM.
In a statement, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) confirmed that it was their SF-260TP attack aircraft, which is used as a recurrency or training flight, that crashed in Bataan earlier this morning.
No other details regarding the identity and current status of the 2 onboard are available as of posting.
It should be noted that the said crash is a separate incident from the earlier reported missing plane in Isabela.
