

A Cessna plane crashed in the area of Barangay Libsong East, in Lingayen, Pangasinan, on Sunday, March 30.
The report by RH 38 Freddie Fajardo stated that Lingayen Police Station Officer-in-charge, PLTCOL. Amor Mio Somine confirmed the plane crash. According to Somine, the incident occurred at around 9 AM on Sunday, adding that the aircraft had crashed into a creek in the area.
Two people, specifically the aircraft’s pilot and student pilot, were confirmed dead by authorities. The report mentioned that the victims’ bodies were taken to the Lingayen District Hospital after the crash.
As of writing, the names of the victims have not yet been released, as authorities contact their respective families.
Meanwhile, the report said that the Philippine National Police (PNP) Aviation and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) are continuing their investigation into the incident.
