From conquering the universe to now dominating the fashion world as beauty queen-actress Pia Wurtzbach is set to be honored as the Global Fashion Influencer of the Year.
The former Miss Universe will receive her award at the fourth edition of the EMIGALA Fashion & Beauty Awards in Dubai on April 27-28.

The start-studded EMIGALA, which is now on its fourth edition, aims "at honouring various members and contributors to the fashion and beauty industries, both regionally and globally."
"The EMIGALA focuses on highlighting the different lifestyles and cultures present in different parts of the globe and how they are reflected and interpreted in the world of fashion and beauty," the description of the event stated.
Among the EMIGALA Awards’ past awardees include Filipino fashion designers Michael Cinco and Furne Amato. Michael was awarded Fashion Designer of the Year while Furne took home the International Fashion Designer of the Year, both in 2021.
Despite being a first-timer in the Milan and Parish fashion weeks last year, two data agencies, Lefty and Launchmetrics, recognized Wurtzbach as among the celebrities who generated the highest media values on social media during the event.
