The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned of possible flash floods as a low pressure area (LPA) continues to affect the weather in several parts of the country.
As of 4:00AM on Saturday, August 6, PAGASA last tracked the LPA at 140 kilometers North Northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
The weather forecasting agency said that the the LPA and the southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms to Metro Manila, Visayas, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Pangasinan, Nueva Vizcaya, and Quirino.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms.
