The shear line and the Northeast Monsoon will bring rains over parts of the country, according to PAGASA on Tuesday, October 24.
Based on the latest weather forecast, the Northeast Monsoon is affecting Northern Luzon, while the shear line is affecting the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon.
Mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the shearline.
Batanes and Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.
Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the northeast monsoon, but it has no significant impact.
Lastly, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the localized thunderstorms.
For wind and coastal water forecasts, Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds moving in a northeast to east direction, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speeds moving in a northeast to east direction, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
